In House by Meenti? 

Introducing: Meenti Mehta – an adept curator of fashion and design whose passion for bringing together Indian textiles & weaves and contemporary silhouettes has driven me to create this platform – IN HOUSE by Meenti.

 

"I have a natural flair for fashion and a deep appreciation for off-beat combinations, and blending unexpected elements to create something truly distinct. Being a part of the fashion environment in New York in the late 90s, I fell in love with the art, fashion, and culture conversations that exposed me to my passion. To further that, I have travelled extensively over the years to immerse myself in global fashion culture, and thus engaged closely with creative minds around the world. Yet, my greatest inspiration comes from India – from our traditional fabrics, artisanal craftsmanship, and heritage art forms.

I am now building a platform dedicated to boosting local designers who are creative, unique, and uncompromising in their vision. While we are just starting out, our mission is clear: to provide a strong network and a stage for exposure, and to refocus the conversation back to sourcing within India. This will be a collective that celebrates originality, craftsmanship, and the depth of design talent our country has to offer."
